This article gives a brief overview of leukaemia's and spermatogenesis, which leads onto the impact of chemotherapy and radiation on fertility. The issues around preservation of fertility are covered both the method and legal issues, including the role of the nurse. This is a valuable clinical paper which highlights issues and gives factual information which can be used in practice.
