| | The stars came out to celebrate Christmas at the TV Times Christmas Carols with the Stars event on 8 December 2008 at the Royal Albert Hall.
 | | Among those dazzling the audience were actress Cherie Lunghi and singer Heather Small both recent contestants on BBC TV's Strictly Come Dancing.
Celebrities from much-loved TV shows including Graham Cole, who plays PC Tony Stamp from The Bill and Emmerdale's Tony Audenshaw (aka Bob Hope) serenaded the audience of Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research Branch members and fundraising groups from around the country. |
The wonderful gospel choir Ob-Sessions spun their magic with their wonderful harmonies and this year were joined by singer Leee John from the 1980s band Imagination at this annual Christmas carol concert.
Broadcaster and international conductor Frank Renton made sure the festive season got off to a rousing start as he led Frank Renton’s Concert Brass with the South Hampstead High School Choir, organist David Bell and the Fanfare Trumpeters of the Coldstream Guards.
Cathy Gilman, Chief Executive at Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research, says: “I'd like to thank the many well-known stars who take time out to make our TV Times Christmas Carols with the Stars event such a success. This glamorous evening with TV stars helped us raise much-needed money to beat leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma.”
