*Beefy's Great Forget-Me-Not Walk

Saturday 10 to Monday 19 April 2010

2010 will mark 25 years since Sir Ian did his first walk for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research. He will be walking in ten locations from Saturday 10 to Monday 19 April 2010.

When Sir Ian first started walking in 1985 only 20 percent of children survived the most common form of leukaemia. Thanks to all your fundraising efforts, and through our investment in research, this number has now increased to 90 percent. But he will not stop until we can see the back of this terrible disease and the more we raise the quicker this will happen.

Please sign up now and start raising lots of money for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research.
You can register online at www.beefy25.com

If you have any other enquires or would like to find out more information please call David Blandford on 020 7865 5143 or email beefy25@llresearch.org.uk.

*Beefy's Charity Golf Series

In 2009 Sir Ian hosted another three golf days in stunning locations. Sir Ian was joined by a number of celebrities, giving our supporters the opportunity to play some unforgettable golf with a celebrity!

The series began at Remedy Oak Club in Wimborne, Dorset. This is a truly magnificent club, and is classed as one of the finest clubs in Southern England.

His second golf day took place at the legendary 6 star resort, Archerfields, near Edinburgh. Sir Ian Botham and his close friend Ronan Keating hosted this memorable weekend.

His season of golf concluded down in sunny Spain at the Dessert Springs Golf Resort.

With a host of famous faces, including world-class sports stars, in world-class locations, these events are truly not to be missed by any golf enthusiast! We would like to thank our kind supporters for their fantastic auction prizes and very generous donations.

Sir Ian will be holding golf days again in 2010, details of these will follow soon.
