The Big Five-0 Challenge | Where does the money go?
Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research is the UK charity dedicated to researching leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma and we’ve come a long way.
Olivia Murphy developed acute lymphoblastic leukaemia at two-years old
Olivia's twin sister, Isabella has remained healthy
A study of the twins was funded by Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research

When we began nearly fifty years ago, a diagnosis of one of these blood cancers would have been a death sentence. Now, more people are surviving than ever before, but we still can’t guarantee survival for everyone.
Your money will be invested in world-class research to improve treatments which can be tailored to the needs of each patient; so those with high risk can be identified and receive more intensive treatment, and those with a lower risk can be spared invasive treatment, but still be cured.
