*This year Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research celebrates its 50th anniversary. The charity was started following the loss of a little girl, Susan Eastwood. Childhood leukaemia then was a virtual death sentence, now thanks to our continued investment in top UK research 9 out of 10 children survive the most common form of leukaemia.

We’ve made great progress but there is still a lot to do to ensure all adults, teenagers and children beat blood cancers such as leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma.

By voting for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research you will help to fund a Research Scientist at the University of Birmingham whose work will improve the safety and effectiveness of bone marrow transplants. The project will discover if a permanent cure can be achieved by immunising patients against their own blood cancer. Vote for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research and give everyone in the community the best chance of survival.

Big Five-0 logo*Celebrate with us in our 50th year
To mark our special anniversary we have a year full of special events and activities for you to become involved in.

So whether it's walking with Sir Ian Botham, playing football, running a marathon, organising an Hawaii 5-O party, or tossing a 50p coin - whatever you do will make a difference!

Sports events*We're known for our expertise in delivering sports events, so why not join our Solihull Bikeathon on 11th July.

As always we have places at other UK events including the Great North Run Series, all the major triathlons. Combine this with our other Bikeathons and our Forget Me Not walks - we really do have something for everyone.

Sir Ian Botham*Or why not join our President Sir Ian Botham on his 25th walk for us.

Starting in Manchester, visiting Sutton Park in Birmingham on the 11th April and ending up in London. Each day he'll complete around 10 miles.

Un-Birthday Parties*As Humpty Dumpty told Alice in Lewis Carroll’s Through The Looking Glass, for 364 days you can celebrate your un-birthday. Help us by throwing your own un-birthday party! Whether it's a bbq, tea or fancy dress party, involve your family, friends and colleagues to make it extra special.

50p for 50 years*Why not support our attempt at a UK record breaking 50p coin toss on one day: if it lands on heads it’s kept, if it lands on tails then it’s donated to us.

As you can see there's lots going on!

Of course none of these events would be able to take place without our dedicated army of volunteers across the country which we hope you will join over the course of the partnership.

Our Corporate Team are experts in adding value and will of course be on hand to support you in every way.
Please help us to continue to save lives by voting for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research.

"After losing my best friend - the journalist John Merritt - to leukaemia in 1994 and later John's daughter Ellie to the same disease I want to make sure I am doing all I can to support Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research, so please support them too by giving them your vote."
